Roasting

As a light roast, Lazy Sunday is gentle on the palate and mellows into a warm hug for your senses. The cocoa influences of Latin America smooth the brew while Africa brings citrus hints to balance. The result is a delicious coffee that can be enjoyed on its own or with cakes, milk chocolate or other sweets. It is a great match with lemon drizzle cakes and vanilla sponges.

When making this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel by adding some off the boil water to keep it warm and ready to brew. After brewing, let the coffee infuse for 4 minutes. This ensures that all the grounds have been fully saturated and not over-extracted. The water must be pushed through using the plunger. Do not stir or agitate your coffee as it can cause unpleasant ingredients to appear in the cup.

Strength - 3 is gentle and easygoing, perfect for lazy weekends.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is an aromatic light roast that has a sweet cocoa and citrus aroma. It has a soft mouthfeel that sooths the palette. The cocoa notes can be traced back to the days of winter sitting on the sofa reading a good book with the warmth of a hug from the family. To brew the coffee, first heat up your French Press with off boil water. This will prevent the coffee from becoming over extracted and resulting in undesirable elements in the drink. Add the grounds, and 250ml of water that has been taken off the boil.  1kg arabica coffee beans  for 4 minutes then plunge and enjoy.
